1 Polyethersulfone (PES) Insulated Wires have excellent heat resistance, physical and mechanical properties, electrical insulation, and extrusion processability. Their outstanding advantages include stable performance under continuous high-temperature operation and in environments with rapid temperature fluctuations. The heat distortion temperature is 200–220°C, the continuous operating temperature is 180–200°C, and the UL temperature index is 180°C. They can withstand hot water or steam at 150–160°C and resist acid and alkali corrosion at high temperatures. The elastic modulus remains nearly unchanged from -100°C to 200°C, particularly above 100°C, outperforming any other thermoplastic resin. The linear expansion coefficient is low and shows minimal temperature dependence. PES is non-toxic, approved by the US FDA, and complies with Japan’s Ministry of Health, notifications No. 434 and 178. It is self-extinguishing; without any added flame retardants, it exhibits excellent flame resistance, achieving UL94 V-0 rating at 0.46 mm thickness.
2 Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) Insulated Wires are made from a super-high-temperature thermoplastic resin. The continuous operating temperature is 250°C, with a UL temperature index of 250°C. PEEK is a flexible resin with excellent creep resistance. It is also self-extinguishing, achieving UL94 V-1 (0.3 mm), V-0 (1.5 mm), and V-5 (3.2 mm) ratings without any added flame retardants.
